Armchair BEA Wrap Up & New Books
Armchair BEA - or ABEA as I've seen it called - is officially over. *sad face* I didn't get to participate in as much as I've liked to. I've started strong doing the self-interview on Day 1 and also posting on Day 2. Then real life got in the way and I didn't do another ABEA post until Friday. But I've managed to catch up a little yesterday, visiting some more blogs and commenting. Overall, I was blown away this week. So many great book blogs out there. And I couldn't even visit everyone. Far from it.
Twitter: I missed the first two chats, because the first one was an ungodly hour for me. And well, I forgot about the second one.....Yeah. But I did make the 3rd one! Third time's the charm, right? And it was a blast. I even won *something*. Yay~
I've learned a great deal of new things this week about book blogging. Thanks y'all for the great advices and for being awesome! :) It really helped this newbie blogger. :) And
I hope some of you who have visited my blog (for the first time?) will come back again (and again)!
Huge thanks for the ABEA team for this super awesome event!
How was your ABEA/BEA week?
I didn't buy any books this week, was too busy with ABEA and life in general. But there's one book I have to show you all.
Signed copy of Slated by Teri Terry.

Love the cover for Slated! And I really liked participating in ArmchairBEA too - although I kinda faded towards the end too.
ReplyDeleteLol, we're the same then. :)
DeleteThanks for commenting!
I know what you mean about not being able to participate that much. I started my new job on Monday and even though it's work from home, I was still busy with training, etc. I did post, but I didn't have time to visit as many blogs as I wanted. There were SO many participants! What a great event though, right? I hope you enjoyed the parts that you did get to join in on. =O)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog today and letting me know about the reply function in blogger. If you get a chance, would you mind telling me how to add it? I would really appreciate it!
Just follow the instructions in here:
Deletehttp://www.bloggerplugins.org/2012/01/threaded-comments-for-blogger.html
And you should get a nice reply button in no time.
I think it's quite simple and easy to do, but if you have any problems just leave me another comment and I'll try to help :)
Good luck with your new job!

Thank you, thank you, thank you, Cayce! I have threaded comments on all my blogs now. You're awesome!
ReplyDeleteDid you receive Eromenos yet from the author? Thought I'd check while I was at it. I know she did send it out.
Yay! I'm glad I could help :)
DeleteYes, I got Eromenos...last week, I think. Sorry, I forgot to let you know that I've received it. :(
Posted about it in here. And I am really looking forward to reading it :) I'm very interested in Greco-Roman history, plus I like M/M stories.
It's next on my tbr list after I finish Slated.

ReplyDeleteDemention is such a great blog, especially if you like dystopian/sci-fi.
DeleteThanks for stopping by, Kimba! :)
It's been a busy week and with all the participants it's good that the links will be available so I can continue working my way through the lists. I was happy that I managed to get the posts done every day, especially since I didn't know about the event until Tuesday morning. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd it was great that they didn't close the link-ups at the end of the day, that way I could link up later in the week.
DeleteThanks for stopping by, hope you enjoyed ABEA! :)
Sounds good to me! Happy reading!
