Q: What is one thing you wish you could tell your favorite author?
Wow, this is probably the hardest question I came across in FF. It's also a very great question. But I'm not sure I can answer it... I don't really have one favorite author, I love Agatha Christie (it's a pity that she's already dead...,) L.M.Montgomery (unreachable No.2.), Stephen King (Yay, a living one), Umberto Eco, Stephenie Meyer etc. etc. They are the authors who never disappoint me. I love everything they wrote. And I also have a couple of amazing new authors I love, mostly from the YA or M/M genre. But what to tell them?? And only one thing. Argh.....Okay, here goes nothing, I'd tell Stephen King that I want him to rewrite the end of The Dark Tower. *sigh* It would be amazing to meet any of them. And really, I think I would be too star-struck to say anything coherent other than I love them and please keep writing forever.
How about you? What would you say?

I've heard so much about The Dark Tower, but I haven't read it yet. I've been meaning to for a while.
ReplyDeleteI love the animal rescue site :)
ReplyDeleteWhen I was 15 I lived in Maine and we went to the movies in Bangor one day & guess who I met?
Stephen King! He was going to the SAME movie theatre!
He was obviously trying to be incognito so me and my 2 pals were chill about talking to him but we squealed and freaked out the whole way home!
He was nice, a little reserved, polite, and gracious.
The Shining, always was and always will be my fave horror story and movie.

ReplyDeleteYou should read it! It's ...I have no words...really it's fantastic.
The first book, The Gunslinger is kinda slow, and it's only about Roland, but after that there's Jake and Eddie and this huge quest. Just speaking about it makes me want to reread it :)
I'm a definite Stephen King and Stephenie Meyer fan! Nice picks, I thought it was tough too!
ReplyDeleteHere’s my FF post
Happy reading!

Hopping through. Stephenie Meyer would be at the top of the list, but I'd love to revive LM Montgomery and tell her how much I love Anne.

ReplyDeleteI love that site, too :)
And you're so lucky that you've met him. He sounds like a cool person. I'm a tiny bit(very) jealous now :D
I never finished The Dark Tower series. I've tried it three times, and never get past book 4 for some reason. One day I will be victorious! Part of the problem is I keep waiting too long in between attempts and having to start over. But my husband read the whole thing, and he would agree with you. He was complaining about the end for a while, in a vague way, since I hadn't read it.
